Writing Skills

     I find writing to be fundamental, especially when one is writing for a purpose. Rather if that is to entertain ,persuade or inform a audience.I am excited to be sharing with you the knowledge I have gained concerning my writing skills  based off of my groups project on the topic Temporary housing. There was some good things,bad things and challenges involving my writing skills. Allow me to share with you as to why I say so. After reading the article Rescue mission along with programs such as better roads and pilot education and other resources that are beneficial to one I found that i was educating myself on the  importance of a memo letter . A memo letter is usually used for procedures or related official business within a organization. It has to be in a certain structure  just as MLA or APA formatting. An example will be the image I have posted above. I found this to be a good writing skill to use for future references. I Like how businesses allow one to give feedback to office throughout memo letters allowing one to express there thoughts and feelings.

    Furthermore I didn't like how I had so many spelling errors and missed punctuation marks inside of my introduction . After attending the writing center  I was informed on my grammar errors and misspelled words. I found it challenging to put my thoughts into accurate sentences when sharing my short story in my  groups intro. Improving my writing skills take time and patience and im acceptation of that. I want to give a big thanks to the professors in the writing lab with helping me do so and my English professor also.I enjoyed making the group banners made for the audience also. The brochures made by my group are made to bring exposure to the shelter rescue mission. I  enjoyed the flyers because it consist of colors, quotes and fun images that was thought of by the group allowing us to become more creative and also improving our writting skillins by getting our message through to our audience by providing factual evidence and reasoning on why they should donate and join hand with the program.Finally I have shared with you my experince on my the good things,bad things and challenges ive encounterd on my groups project about Temporary housing,ive shared with you what ive learned as far as my writting skills and challenges Ive overcame.  Trinity Drake Professor Kyburz English 101 10-06-21      Today is the first day back from fall break.  I took into consideration the fact that i have plenty of time on my hands to gather  addition resources for the group project so i took into accountability of doing so. Reading up on the topic temporary housing and articles on the shelter rescue mission was helpful. i came across information that the group and i found to be  useful for the groups project. Towards the end of the article there are different coworkers  with subtitles with a brief explanation of their roles along with fun facts about themselves.  Trinity Drake  10-25-21 English 101 Presentation      I am currently working on the presentation with my group on temporary housing. I found this topic to be extremely fascinating for numerous of reasoning. Allow me to share with you a couple. I myself has actually joined hands with temporary housing. People whom is without shelter is not overall bad people. Another is being that we learn the best with pain is involved . This topic is interesting to me because i experience being without shelter in my past experience for my personal reasoning. opening my eyes to ruining lawn more in the early morning, drenched from body liquid due to the heat from the sun inside the vehicle , thoughts of what am i going to have tomorrow really caused me to open my eyes to reality.  Trinity Drake 11/06/2021 English 101 Groups   I am excited to start the new assignment that was assigned for the class this week. The tasks is to pick a group and gather information creating a delivery for the topic of the group. The  Topic of the group I choseto be in is supporting Mens housing .  My group and i chose to support the lack of housing for men specifically because we believe that men isnt really supported in the system compared to women. Men seem to have it more challenging for numerous of reasoning. That statment can be opionated but that just how the group and i feel on that topic therefore were suporting it.
